SWYFTEE is a two-sided digital platform giving businesses that need short-notice help and nearby people available to work immediate visibility of each other. It operates as a pure introducer - no agency involvement, no payroll complexity, no commission. Clients post roles. Workers apply. Clients make the final hiring decision. At the end of the shift, the Client pays the Worker directly. The link is direct and immediate.
SWYFTEE was conceived in 2015 and originally built and launched live in 2017, proving that real-time visibility of nearby work functions in practice. The 'Swyftee Intro Video' alongside was produced at the time of the original platform launch in 2017. It is reproduced here as a record of what was built and proven in market at that time. The platform being rebuilt today is substantially more capable - but it is built on a foundation that has already been tested in the real world.
Users understood the model immediately. Nearby supply responded to demand within minutes. Both sides turned up and the loop closed - postings, applications, shifts worked and paid. What it lacked was timing. The original wrapper architecture was exposed to app-store risk outside the company's control; cloud infrastructure had not matured to the point where an intelligent layer was viable at a workable price; and the capability to learn from the platform's own activity did not yet exist affordably. Each of those constraints has since been resolved.
The 2026 Platform
SWYFTEE will be rebuilt from the ground up on modern architecture - not as a restoration of what existed before, but as the platform the original concept was always designed to become.
The core platform links clients and workers in real time via a location-aware interface. An enhanced tier is available by subscription, providing greater visibility, workflow tools, and reliability signalling for higher-intent participants. A preferred tier is earned through consistent performance and credentials confirmed at source by accredited third parties.
The result is a platform designed to become more effective the more it is used. Growth adds intelligence rather than simply adding scale. In mature form, the platform monitors, adjusts, and improves continuously - operating seamlessly across multiple geographies simultaneously.
Additional Applications
Beyond the public marketplace, the proposed platform architecture supports a licensed enterprise version for larger organisations - a ring-fenced internal system allowing managers to alert nearby approved workers to urgent shift requirements across multiple sites, without altering existing payroll or employment arrangements. This creates a separate B2B revenue stream alongside the core consumer marketplace.
